U.S. Attorney Zachary Fardon and Atty. Cameron Findlay to be Recognized

Legal Aid Society Annual Luncheon Honors Outstanding Contributions to the Legal Community

Zachary Fardon, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois; and Cameron Findlay, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, Archer Daniels Midland Company; both will be recognized for their longstanding commitment to providing access to legal services for all at the Legal Aid Society’s Annual Equal Access to Justice Awards Luncheon Oct. 16, 2014.

A member of the Legal Aid Society since 2007, Fardon served as Chair from Sept. 2012 to Nov. 2013, a position he held until he was confirmed as U.S. Attorney. ADM’s Findlay will be presented the William H. Avery Award for Equal Access to Justice and participate in a discussion with Andrea L. Zopp, CEO and President of the Chicago Urban League.

“The pro bono work done by some of Chicago’s top attorneys on behalf of those who normally would not have access to legal assistance is truly inspiring,” said Kendra Reinshagen, Executive Director of the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services. “This year, the Legal Aid Society is proud to recognize U.S. Attorney Zachary Fardon and ADM’s Cameron Findlay for outstanding contribution to the legal community and to equal justice.”
