Mpower the Night Gala Celebrates Metropolitan’s 160th Anniversary
ABC7’s Leah Hope to Emcee; McCormick Foundation to Receive Inaugural Legacy Award
CHICAGO – Six hundred of Chicago’s business and philanthropic leaders will celebrate 160 years of “Mpowering” families at the “Mpower the Night” gala, taking place from 5:30 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, 221 N. Columbus Drive, Chicago. ABC 7’s Leah Hope will emcee.
Highlights of this year’s event will include the presentation of Metropolitan’s Inaugural Legacy Award to the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, for its outstanding philanthropic leadership in empowering Chicago-area families. The gala also will include cocktails, dinner, the Mpower the Night Chicago Raffle and Super Silent Auction, as well as a Fund-the-Need Auction benefitting multiple Metropolitan programs and services. Event proceeds also will help support the agency’s services.
