Metropolitan Family Services Names Mary Richardson-Lowry to Board of Directors
Metropolitan Family Services, one of the Chicago area’s most established providers of programs to help low-income families, announces the appointment of Mary B. Richardson-Lowry to its Board of Directors. Richardson-Lowry, a partner in the Chicago office of Mayer Brown global law firm, is a member of the firm’s Lateral Hiring and Diversity and Inclusion committees.
Recognized by Crain’s 100 Most Influential Women in 2004, Richardson-Lowry also is the recipient of the Abraham Lincoln Center Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2010 as well as the National Diversity Council’s Most Powerful and Influential Women in Illinois Award in 2011, and has been appointed to numerous boards and commissions, including serving as Immediate Past President of the City of Chicago Board of Education.
