We’re proud that for more than 165 years, we have empowered families and individuals through social services, legal aid, and social policy advocacy. Since 1857, MFS has been the engine of positive change that powers others and communities to reach their greatest potential. We’re grateful to be a legacy organization that continually evolves to serve the changing needs of individuals and our communities, and we’re thankful for the trust of our communities and our partners.
MFS powers others to learn, to earn, to heal, to thrive, and we can mentor, motivate, and advocate for our communities due to the strength of our history, reputation, leadership, and our 10 Community Centers that include two centers of practice Legal Aid Society and the Metropolitan Peace Initiatives.
