Altgeld 10 youth leaders organize and distribute food to help end teen hunger

The Altgeld 10 gives back!

These members of our Calumet Center’s youth leadership program organized and distributed food recently as part of a partnership with Chicago Housing Authority, Urban Institute, and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Program Supervisor Carrie Pullie lauded the teens’ efforts. She says, “We are so proud of the youth as they give back to their community to help end teen hunger (and have fun)!”
