Metropolitan Family Services has created this website privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website.
Our website’s registration form requires users to provide contact information such as their name and email address. We use contact information from the registration form to send the user our electronic newsletter and other information about Metropolitan Family Services. Our website also collects information from donors who financially support our programs (such as their name, address, phone number and email address). Contact information from event and donation forms is used to send acknowledgements, donation receipt letters, and information about Metropolitan Family Services to our donors. Credit card information collected is only used to charge the user’s donations.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Our shopping cart is run on a secure server. Our Commitment to Our Donors
We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. This policy applies to all information received, both online and offline, on any Platform, as well as any electronic, text messaging, written, or oral communications. Sharing excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
Refund Policy
We greatly appreciate your donation! We will gladly process changes and refunds for any errors or omissions. Please note that donations (including ticket purchases and sponsorships) for Special Events whose dates have passed are non-refundable. In the case of Special Events, we request at least a two business day advance notice prior to the Event for a refund request.
