Parents as Partners Outreach Worker Yomara: “We meet our families where they are.”
“Parents as Partners is a passionate home visiting program staffed by professionals that work day-in, day out to make positive impacts in the lives of youth parents,” shares Yomara Mata, an Outreach Worker with the program.
“Being a parent is tough, it is life changing, but with the right support the transition is easier. There are so many benefits to having a support team by your side that will give you the tools necessary to be your child’s first teacher.”
Yomara and her team are committed to sharing the program’s goals and mission to as many people as possible. In this current climate, that means going above and beyond to make sure they’re available virtually for the parents they serve.
Yomara shares:
“We meet our families where they are and help them find the tools and resources they need most.
During these tough times, it is important to have resources available and someone to help you along the way. Parents as Partners is an innovative team that creatively connects with others at a distance. We are currently offering virtual visits and phone calls that will help us connect with families.
If you are interested in learning more about the program, feel free to fill out our online intake form. We will be more than glad to talk to you about how we may support you and your family during this time.”
