Metropolitan Family Services DuPage Welcomes Three New Board Members
Metropolitan Family Services DuPage, a leading provider of education, economic stability and emotional wellness services to low-income families in 33 communities throughout DuPage County, has named three new members to its Community Board. The three-year term appointments were made at the organization’s Annual Meeting October 24.
“I am pleased to welcome these new board members to our already outstanding board of directors,” said Theresa Nihill, Executive Director, Metropolitan Family Services DuPage. “Our clients and communities will be well served by their talents. I look forward to working with them and the entire board as we continue to provide hope and opportunity to those in need in DuPage County.”
New board members:
Jill Brown is Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Cadence Health in Winfield. She has more than 25 years of experience in marketing and communications management and led the team that successfully created and launched the brand in 2010. Brown also served as a previous trustee for Lawrence Hall Youth Services, a nonprofit child welfare agency based in Chicago, and was president of the Chicago Illini Club and chairman of the University of Illinois Alumni Council. She resides in Northbrook, with her two children.
Jim Carter has more than 20 years of wealth management experience on brokerage, trust and RIA platforms, most recently as an Advisor at Savant Capital Management. He has served the wealth management needs of individuals, foundations and endowments, along with qualified retirement plans. Carter served on the Metropolitan DuPage MetroMentors Advisory Board and presently sits on the Development Committee of the MFS DuPage Board. He resides in Wheaton with his wife.
Tom Hutchinson is the President of Mid-American Group, a leading Employee Benefits Consulting and Brokerage company in Westmont, serving clients throughout the United States and Canada. He has more than 29 years of business experience having held marketing and managerial positions with several Fortune 1000 corporations. Hutchinson is a married father of two and resides in Glen Ellyn. He also is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and is an active member in The Executive Club of Chicago.
