Metropolitan Family Services’ Legal Aid Society was one of the first organizations in the nation to provide legal services for the poor. From the beginning it has helped provide “justice for all,” regardless of ability to pay. Some of Chicago’s most noted attorneys are active members of the Legal Aid Society Board.

The Metropolitan and Legal Aid Associate Board (MLAB) is an association of young professionals assisting the Legal Aid Society and Metropolitan Family Services in providing pro bono work, fundraising, and raising awareness of Metropolitan’s work in the greater Chicagoland area.
