Get Involved
Advocate – Volunteer – Donate – Intern
There are many ways to get involved in empowering Chicago-area families with Metropolitan Family Services.
Volunteer
Help make a positive difference in the lives of families and individuals in need! You’ll be in great company! Volunteers can work directly with clients or opt for behind-the-scenes service opportunities. We offer a range of options for you to get involved – whether you are looking for an ongoing volunteer duty or a one-time-only project. Once we learn more about you we can match your talents to fulfilling a task.

Attend an Event
Enjoy yourself while showing support, celebrating and raising awareness for Metropolitan Family Services by attending an event. Metropolitan hosts a variety of events throughout the year at locations throughout the city and suburbs to benefit the centers and programming we provide. Join us and other guests for an afternoon/evening of dining, dancing, auctions, music, raffles and more. Learn about all our events here.
Monthly Giving
Small beginnings add up to big things. Enroll in our monthly giving program to fund families in the Chicago-area by clicking here. Just $10 a month can fund the tools needed for valuable out-of-school-time programming, like MetroMentors and the Upward Bound college-prep program, to keep children on a positive path in their educational and personal growth. Your small monthly sacrifice will empower one more area family to thrive. To Mpower more families, set up a monthly donation here.
Planned Giving
Empower future generations by making a permanent commitment to Metropolitan Family Services through planned giving gifts.
