FSS of MFSD opens its doors for an Open House

Family Shelter Service of Metropolitan Family Services DuPage opened its doors for an Open House, sharing our work in supporting domestic violence survivors across DuPage with board members, supporters, and community members.

Metropolitan DuPage Executive Director Rita Lopez Brosnan and FSS of MFSD staff spoke about our expanded efforts in offering wraparound services through the recent merger, and Guests had the opportunity to tour the Shelter space – now featuring a new playground, recently built with the support of Kaboom!, Discover Financial Services, and 200+ community volunteers.
