Calumet’s Jennifer McCraw honored by Women Empowered for Civic Engagement

Women Empowered for Civic Engagement (WECE), a nonprofit working for women’s equality and equity through civic engagement, honored Metropolitan Calumet Program Manager Jennifer McCraw at its recent Purple With A Passion Awards!

The awards honored 30 women who have made immediate impact in their neighborhoods, communities, cities, states and nation. According to WECE, “these women are exceptional leaders creating empowerment for everyone.”

Jennifer oversees multiple programs at our Calumet Center, including Community Schools and our Get IN Chicago SYNC (Strengthening Youth through Network of Care) program, as well as various services including domestic violence, mentoring, family support, and community development.
