Dametrick Evans
Paralegal
Dametrick Evans serves as a Paralegal for the Legal Aid Society (LAS)’s Communities Partnering for Peace (CP4P) Justice Corps.
Prior to this role, Dametrick was an Americorps member serving in the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender where he created and maintained community partnerships that helped the office provide vital resources to its clients, aiding in its mission to reduce recidivism. Dametrick also worked as a community development intern for the Aurora, IL city government where he collaborated with local non-profit organizations to revitalize blighted properties for low-income family housing.
Dametrick received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2018.
