Altgeld Youth-led food pantry re-opens in our Calumet Center community

The Altgeld Teen Leaders of our Calumet Center hosted their first youth-led food pantry in almost two years due to the pandemic! Our youth were excited to safely provide food to their community.

“I am so proud of the youth as they organize actions to bring healthy food options and make a difference in their community,” shares Carrie Pullie, Executive Director of Metropolitan Calumet.

This youth-led food pantry will be held monthly on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9-11 am at 951 E. 132nd Place, Chicago, IL 60827.
