2010 Annual DuPage Gala
The Board of Metropolitan Family Services DuPage would like to thank all of the supporters of the 2010 Annual DuPage Gala, held on May 7 at Bobak’s Signature Events at Seven Bridges in Lisle. The event boasted more than 320 attendees and raised more than $100,000!
The Gala featured live music by Strings of Silk and Four on the Floor, Jazz Quartet as well as a live and silent auction, a champagne raffle, and a Heads & Tails raffle. The Gala celebrated the success of MFS DuPage and raised funds for its programs and services, such as MetroMentors.

The second Roger K. Johnson Leadership Award was presented to Don and Joyce Ursin for their significant contributions to families and communities served by Metropolitan Family Services DuPage.
Don has been involved with MFS DuPage since 1987, serving as the MFS DuPage Community Board Chairman in 1991. Don led a successful real estate career, holding several positions of leadership, including President of the Illinois Association of Realtors in 1981 and President of Coldwell Banker Residential (Chicago Area) from 1981-1989. The first recipients of the Roger K. Johnson Leadership award Dan and Sandra Schuchardt were also in attendance.
