The United Way of Metropolitan Chicago has been one of Metropolitan’s strongest supporters for many years. In fact, our partnership began with the creation of the United Way, where one of Metropolitan’s former presidents helped found the organization’s predecessor, the Community Fund of Chicago, in 1934.
United Way continues to provide significant financial resources that help make Metropolitan’s work in Chicago and area suburbs possible. We look forward to this continued alliance that helps keep families strong.
Respected globally as business consultant experts, the Boston Consulting Group has partnered with Metropolitan Family Services since 1997 to develop Metropolitan’s multi-year strategic plans. The Boston Consulting Group’s counsel has helped Metropolitan effectively position itself for the future.
Local, state and national government agencies also have played a major role in sustaining and furthering Metropolitan’s work in the community. From programs in the Chicago Public Schools and violence prevention education to homeownership support for seniors and parental training, government funding helps ensure that Metropolitan provides programs and services to families when and where they are needed.
